These Terms govern your access to and use of the PerilIntel website, API and platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
PerilIntel provides advisory catastrophe-risk intelligence — scores, triage verdicts, clearances and exposure views — as decision-support. Outputs are not a peril determination, rating, coverage decision, or underwriting decision, and are not professional, legal or insurance advice.
Underwriting, pricing and binding decisions remain solely yours. You are responsible for verifying material information against official sources and applying your own appetite, judgment and licensed authority. Do not rely on the Service as the sole basis for any decision.
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and API keys and for all activity under them. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Paid plans are billed as set out in your order or agreement. Published prices are illustrative and may change; the fees in your agreement govern.
The Service, software and PerilIntel marks are owned by PerilIntel. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. Hazard data is sourced from public and licensed providers and remains subject to their terms.
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Hazard data comes from third-party sources and may be inaccurate, delayed or incomplete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PerilIntel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost business, or underwriting or claims losses arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
You agree to indemnify PerilIntel against claims arising from your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the parties submit to the courts located in British Columbia.
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
